Disambiguation Issue[edit]

Frou Frou was originally a circulated humor journal in the early 1900s. How would one go about setting up a disambiguation entry about that versus this?

Pronounciation[edit]

Anyone know how to pronounce "Frou Frou"? --210.49.177.208 08:02, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's pronounced fɹu fɹu (rhymes with threw and clue). JeffyP 14:11, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's like the german word sounding Frow frow (rymes with now).
I know it's not pronounced as the German Frow. I'm sticking with Frou rhyming with threw. Don't forget to sign your comments next time with 4 tildes! JeffyP 19:43, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's pronounced Froo Froo. Why sigh, cutie pie? 03:17, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
According to the OED, yes. But the question now is, what's OED's "froo froo" in IPA? I'm not sure I trust the anon who changed it today. --Gwern (contribs) 17:06 21 February 2007 (GMT)

Does the band still exist?[edit]

After reading the article I am not sure. Some parts refers to the band in the past tense, while some in the present tense. According to the article band is disbanded. Przepla 11:37, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sound pronounsation doesn't work![edit]

I'd say the line "... Frou Frou disbanded in 2003" says it? They are doing solo stuff now. feydey 21:09, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Imogen Heap is now touring and releasing solo material, and Guy Sigsworth has been working with other artists, such as Madonna, Britney Spears & Kate Havnevik. JeffyP 19:43, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Watkins Radio Edit vs. Watkins Vocal Mix[edit]

I've seen it labeled both ways. Anyone know which is correct?

Please give more information next time, but I happen to know what you're talking about, and it's Watkins Radio Edit. Don't forget to sign your comments next time with 4 tildes! JeffyP 19:43, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Songs Used in TV Shows[edit]

Frou Frou's song, "Let Go" was also used as the intro song on the majority of Gilmore Girls teasers for season 5.

Trivia[edit]

I removed the one note of trivia 1. because i don't believe trivia should be in wikipedia and 2, maybe if you got MORE of them that were more relevant. But I don't know, revert back if you want. (-Kid. 16:17, 20 April 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Cover song of "Let Go"[edit]

Hey I noticed the band A Static Lullaby had done a cover song of Frou Frou's "Let Go" and I was wondering if this should be included in the article? --68.163.240.187 01:11, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Arguably, if A Static Lullaby is notable enough to have their own article on en.wp, their cover of this song merits a quick inclusion, I think. I'll find a cite for it and put it in. Thudworthy (talk) 04:58, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Frou Frou Tracks Featured in Shows/Movies[edit]

The article states that a Frou Frou track was used in Grey's Anatomy - Could a source please be shown for this information? --Lovelywonderland (talk) 01:29, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chance of getting back together[edit]

This page states that both artists have denied another Frou Frou album, their myspace says differently, so i think i'd either like some backup on that statement of denial, or it should be changed 87.57.139.141 (talk) 11:27, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NO AUDIO FILE!!!in pronouncation[edit]

Other songs[edit]

Apart from the songs mentioned, there is an unreleased song called 'A New Kind Of Love', which has somehow found its way onto YouTube, and I have seen Guy Sigsworth on Twitter referring to a track they (Frou Frou) recorded in collaboration with some other artist. I can also confirm that the song called 'Guitar Song' does exist, because Guy Sigsworth played it in a UK radio interview with him. It's a slow, sparsely instrumented song quite unlike most of the material on 'Details'. I think both Guy and Immi have said that it was one of their favourites.109.145.58.68 (talk) 14:40, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation of Sugar Rush[edit]

If anyone knows whether Frou Frou was featured on the UK Sugar Rush or the US (Food Network) Sugar Rush show, that would be great so I can fix the dab. Pariah24 05:23, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
