Notable Games[edit]

Are the Souls games really the only games from this studio people care about? I knew of From Software because of Armored Core LONG before a Souls game even came out. Can we at least add one Armored Core game or something else outside of the Souls games? (which includes Bloodborne as far as i'm concerned) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.249.68.196 (talk) 21:58, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed this, since it really was biased towards the Souls games. Not to mention it was redundant with the full gameography article listed right above it. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 06:56, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Do Not Delete[edit]

I will assume the responsibility of cleaning this up. Deciding on how to order them will be first, then the infobox, and then I will gather all information as I can following the Template and matching with other pages. Any suggestions feel free to leave them here. Muralsmetaphors 13:24, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

AfD[edit]

Could somebody please alphabetize this? (unsigned post by CagedInsomniak at 13 December 2005)

King's Field[edit]

The release list reflects the US released KF games only. This should be fixed. the first King's Field game was never released in english, agetec instead started with KF2, and dropped the "2". Likewise, King's Field: The Ancient City was simply called "King's Field IV" in japan.

Also, the King's Field game for the PSP (there are two, infact) are called King's Field Additional.

I would edit these myself, but I am unsure of the release dates.

Fair use rationale for Image:FromSoftware.png[edit]

Image:FromSoftware.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:32, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another Canceled Game

To whom it may concern

I know of another game by From Software that was canceled. It's Armored Core: Sigma Project. In Gamefaqs, it was listed as canceled, and I'm sure that there's a few other websites that'll clarify this as well. Neo Guyver 23:21, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sigma Project never existed. It was an early title for Silent Line. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.255.77.164 (talk) 22:40, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tenchu 4[edit]

Hello, I do not know how to do a reference, but if someone could add http://kotaku.com/5012916/tenchu-4-heading-to-wii for Tenchu 4 under Wii, I would appreciate it.--72.64.55.166 (talk) 14:01, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Needs to be updated[edit]

Please use [1] to update the game pages. The article's game software lists have not been updated since the 'Hello Kitty' game came out (ハローキティのおしゃれパーティー サンリオキャラクターずかんDS). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.95.228.4 (talk) 07:18, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page title[edit]

Shouldn't the title of the page be FromSoftware (without the space in between)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.160.211.34 (talk) 18:50, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • It should, but Wikipedia normally prefers the non-stylized versions of names. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 20:49, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Souls Popularity[edit]

Do people seriously list the Souls games as "Best RPGs ever made" often enough to warrant specific mention of doing so in this article? If they do, people REALLY need to wake up. 68.235.179.47 (talk) 03:15, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't a forum. This is for helping to make the page better. Which, frankly, your statements do not. —017Bluefield (talk) 03:03, 31 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Include Something about Shadows Die Twice?[edit]

Would it be alright to add maybe a snippet that this is a future and/or ongoing project? This information is bound to have at least some coverage and can merit one sentence pertaining to it.Kipras Is Present (talk) 15:55, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • It can be added right after the final sentence in the history section. But as there is literally nothing else known about the game (even the title, which could have just been a tagline), it doesn't really warrant anything else. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 20:53, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why "Microsoft Windows" instead of "PC/Steam"?[edit]

I've played Dark Souls III and Sekiro on Linux with Steam Proton--AbrachenFoster (talk) 12:32, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • If it's not officially released for the platform, it doesn't belong. Also, Steam is not a platform, it's a storefront in the same way that Best Buy or GameStop is. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 15:54, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What the hell is velvet veil?[edit]

There's been no press releases on this game and the only thing I can find about it is just rumours. Can we get an actual source somewhere? Radnompieceofgarbage (talk) 08:31, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 14:43, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Needs online or multiplayer fixed[edit]

Needs online or multi player fixed cause in multiplayer yes you can help in co op but can't get runes or ride a horse or get stuff. If this was fixed in Elden ring then the game would be fun in co op but not like how it is. Also a online would be great do guilds or help others or do side quest. Also needs to have better runes pick up . Plz this game is great just needs better on co op — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.103.64.48 (talk) 03:53, 14 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
