Untitled[edit]

The numbers given in Jane's' World War II Tanks are slightly different. This is mostly due to the fact that Jane's doesn't include the June numbers. In the case of the R 35 and the AMC 35 export is not taken fully into account. The old number of 35 Char B1's is still thought to be correct. One number is however an obvious error: the R 35 May number should be 206, not 106. Another number is completely of the mark and inexplicable to me: 315 pre-war Char B1 bis, whereas the true number is 129.

I've been provided with the reason for the mistake: 315 was the number of the available Char B1 bis at the beginning of the campaign (on 10 May 1940), which was mistaken for the number at the beginning of the war :o)

Radiotank[edit]

What is a radiotank? Should we have a page on it?

Indeed "radio tank" is somewhat ambiguous; it's not a radio-controlled vehicle. I'll change it into "radio communication tank".--MWAK (talk) 05:32, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
