Out of date?[edit]

It says that the last strip in the Beezer and Topper had caricatures of the then current England team and manager, and so could have been one of the reasons the strip was not reprinted in The Beano. But then, the reprint in Issue 3436 dated 21st June 2008 had an appearance from a young John Major.
