Question[edit]

I am puzzled by the statement that these ducks are most easily identified by their large head and peaked crown. Surely they are most easily identified by their distinctive pattern of freckles? The statement can only be true if there are other ducks of similar colour, size and habit with which they might be confused. If this is the case, then it ought to be stated within the article e.g. "The Freckled Duck is similar in colouration to the Speckled Duck, the Spotted Duck and the Spangled Duck. It is most easily identified by its large head and peaked crown."
