Styles?[edit]

I myself don't have the experience or know-how (yet) to do it, but it seems to me that either the heading "Artistic Styles" or the information it contains ought to be changed. The information presently here doesn't really describe his artistic style (which, with its tendency to split comics fans into love/hate reactions, could be worthwhile covering in the article) so much as it describes his artistic process and the tools/technology he employs, and the inaccuracy of the heading seems like something that could be changed pretty easily.

According to the DC website (link below) the correcft spelling for we3 is 'WE3', not We3. (I know I am being pedantic but....)

Image[edit]

Does anyone have a more recent photo of Frank, showing him with longer hair? Just that I remember reading in an interview with him that he hates the old photos of him with his shaved head, and whenever he signs books with older photos in he scribbles hair onto his picture! Glasgow School of Art alumnus and career outside comics[edit]

I distinctly remember Grant Morrison saying how he got Mr. Deighan to work in comics after he got his degree in architecture from some University in Scotland. I think it was from an interview in SilverbulletComicBooks dot com on All-Star Superman, but the details elude me. Ah, my bad. I was referring to this : It's not like he ever wanted to draw American superhero comics anyway. It was me who talked him into it! He's a boho Glasgow Art School boy (is he referring to the Glasgow School of Art? probably) who gets big, prestigious commercial art gigs outside comics and he finds it impossible to work to comic book deadlines because they just don't suit his meticulous pace and never will. He has three kids and, quite rightly, he spends a lot of time with them and with his wife and family and friends when he's not behind his desk, so the way I see it, we Quitely fans should be thankful we get any goddamn comic books out of him at all. Can someone verify Morrison's claim and expand on it? upcoming projects - 2007[edit]

The main article mentions that he signed an exclusive 2-yr contract with DC in Dec. 2004. Now that he is not in exclusive contract with them any more (?) , does someone know what projects will he work on next? Morrison, in a recent interview, describes the series as "the re-emergence of the original, pre-Crisis Superman but with 20 years of history we haven't seen."

Kreepy Kat?[edit]

Does anyone want to mention that he did a comic strip for the webcomic Kreepy Kat? I realize it's not a huge deal, but it is something he did, and this article is kind of short. They made a reference to him in the strip after. --SquidMoose 09:15, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
