Reason for keeping this page[edit]

This lake is a permanent geographical feature of the area in which it is located. Why are permanent features being nominated for deletion? Bill Pollard (talk) 04:14, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wpollard, just because this lake is a permanent geographical feature does not mean it meets WP:NRVE and other notability guidelines. And by the way you need to stop deleting these deletion proposals because you have a big history of getting proposed deletions for your most of your articles. Sometimes, you need to suck it up and accept the fact that your articles doesnt meet notability guidelines. Also, ‘’’don’t make up stories’’’ about not seeing the “Contest” button because I already tried viewing the article through multiple devices including my cell phone and there was always a contest button. If you continue to do these actions such as creating non notable articles and then defending yourself with these non sense stories about not seeing a contest button you should expect yourself to someday get reported and warned from this unfair behavior. (I deeply recommend that you read the criteria for any sort of deletions and also read the notability guidelines) Yanjipy (talk) 19:05, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I probably missed the contest button to this article. If I did I will apologize for that. However, to contest a speedy deletion it is necessary to remove the notice about a speedy deletion, so the article can go to the "Articles for Deletion" process and be examined by as many users as want to participate and judge the article. You talk about making up stories. Your claim that most of my articles get proposed for deletion is not base in fact. Very few of my articles have been proposed for deletion and still fewer have been deleted. I do not make stories and I see no reason why I should be reported for unfair behavior. I simply am trying to write articles, add information to other articles and improve talk pages. I am not looking for Wikipedia wars with anyone. Bill Pollard (talk) 19:23, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Wpollard: That's not how it works. If you click on the Contest button, it should take you to the Talk page of the article so you can explain why it shouldn't be deleted. Removing the tag itself has nothing to do with the button.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:54, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • Wpollard, I accept the fact that you're not trying to start a war with anyone here but for now let us keep it simple by simply leaving any of our conversations from here on forward to an end. Hopefully, we can avoid any further conflicts.
Best of luck to you in the future, Yanjipy (talk) 21:18, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
