Suggestions[edit]

It needs:

  • References
  • Relevenant (not spammy) ezxternal links.
  • A photo of the exercise in action, this should be easy an editor can just take one of themself (using proper form of course). Quadzilla99 13:20, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed on all points. Don't know where to get any of them. Don't like pictures of me floating around on wikipedia. Any volunteers? I'm looking into finding some pics at wikimedia. Is there a way of searching images on wikipedia? I'm unfamiliar with both. --WLU 15:16, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
One further point - the page should be part of bodybuilding, strength training and weight training, should there be multiple tags, or should the most comprehensive be used? WLU
Some photos at Weight training exercises. GeorgeStepanek\talk 11:05, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent, thanks for the suggestions. I also added links on that page to this one. I've never actually seen it written down, are both spellings equally acceptable or is flye dominant? --WLU 13:27, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dumbbell fly merge proposal[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was to redirect Dumbbell fly to this article. I could not see any information worthy of inclusion that was not already covered in this article. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 06:55, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

While browsing through Category:Weight training exercises looking for anything not present in Template:Strength training exercises, I noticed this one recently created in 2011. I am inviting the author to come and discuss the titles and content of both articles in hopes they can be merged. Dummbbells are the classic means by which to perform the fly exercise, and are mentioned here alongside more recent means like the machine ones or pec decks. Support merge into this title (Fly (exercise) ) as the more general title. An article entitled "Dumbbell fly(e)" should not discuss cables, and would usually mean "chest fly" as opposed to other sorts of flyes that can be performed. --EncycloPetey (talk) 15:29, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
