To the author(s) of the Fincastle Resolutions page:

I have read with interest your page and have a few questions/observations:

1 You list thirteen men as "signers" of the Fincastle Resolutions, but Jim Glanville writes that there is no existing hand-written copy of the Fincastle Resolutions and that it is not certain who, or indeed if anyone, signed on 20 January 1775, who perhaps signed later, or who consented to having his name published as a signer - without having actually been present on 20 January. See: Glanville, Jim. "The Fincastle Resolutions" The Smithfield Review, 14: 69-119,2010.

2 The Resolutions do provide for the election of a "committee" which consisted of the thirteen men you list as signers, plus Daniel Smith and William Russell. Glanville names Smith and Russell as both members of the committee and "signers". See Glanville, page 91.

Accordingly, perhaps the article should be revised to clarify that it is not clear that the resolutions were "signed" and to add Smith and Russell. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Skipjen (talkcontribs) 22:49, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Good suggestions. May I suggest you be bold and make the edits.--Kubigula (talk) 03:30, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kubigula! Ordinarily I am bold but I haven't mastered editing Wikipedia yet. I know its not hard but I just haven't learned. So don't hesitate to steal my thunder if you get to it before I do.
