"consists of six tertiary institutes" I see five listed.142.232.74.91 (talk) 18:24, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No merges, they are independent had have been for decades. The FNU is a collaboration of these 6 academies but they are all still running on their own. They have not been merged into one, they each provide different types of studies for different classes of people. USP and the Fiji University are standalone academic organizations whereas the FNU is a collaboration of 6 minor tertiary organizations. ..--Stemoc (talk) 04:08, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, cool. Thanks for the explanation. Mlm42 (talk) 04:33, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Just as departments have an independent identify from their institutions, so too does the Fiji Institute of Technology; this doesn't mean that every university should have a separate page for each of its constituent parts. FIT seems to be firmly part of the university now, and so hence a merge seems the best course of action. Klbrain (talk) 15:26, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Non-encyclopedic content[edit]

I've removed some content, including some images, which looked more like an advertisement for the university than an encyclopedia article. If there are objections to this, then please discuss them here. Thanks, Mlm42 (talk) 16:38, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
