Untitled[edit]

This article really needs to be rewritten. Reading it, the entire article is full of simple sentences, fragments and run-ons. Dpeters11 (talk) 01:32, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

pronouns[edit]

While I want to respect any subjects pronouns, we really do need a source for this and I can't find a single one - the only thing even remotely related is an unverified Twitter account. PRAXIDICAE🌈 14:26, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Praxidicae: I've moved the article back as it was heavily edited and moved by a confirmed sock.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:52, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Maria LarkFeodor Lark – Subject has transitioned from female to male and the article title should reflect the name change. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a01:4c8:c89:486b:18bd:c24:ffbb:725b (talk) 03:19, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: Do you have any other sources for this than Instagram? It doesn't seem to be mentioned on pretty much any of the other language versions of the article either. Also, don't you mean "from female to male"? JIP | Talk 11:32, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I meant Female to male. I don’t think his transition would be covered in any news articles and he’s a retired actor. But these sources seem pretty obvious he’s transitioned and changed his name.

  • Comment: I think this needs wider discussion. I'm sympathetic to the name change as reflecting the spirit of WP:BLP, but it's contrary to current policy IMO. Hesitant to ping the relevant WikiProjects as possible canvassing. But the obvious solution is a naming convention allowing us to reflect gender choices in article names of living persons, without necessarily waiting for WP:NAMECHANGES to kick in. Other comments?
