Minor edit to "Indications in veterinary science"[edit]

Corrected "such As Legg-Calve-Perthes' disease." to "such as Legg-Calve-Perthes' disease." (de-capitalized "as") Victorsteelballs (talk) 06:37, 31 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect Needed[edit]

A reference to Girdlestone should redirect here. Perhaps "Girdlestone's Procedure" or "Girdlestone's Operation". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.216.178.206 (talk) 06:07, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, thank you. I've created both. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 12:25, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In humans?[edit]

The article primarily covers this procedure in veterinary medicine and doesn't directly mention its application to humans. From a cursory Google search it seems like this procedure was more common historically but is now only used as "a salvage procedure to relieve pain when an arthrodesis or, exceptionally, a prosthesis is impractical".[1] Anyway, something about this should be incorporated into the article. 2601:644:101:9616:16F:20F8:7F54:4458 (talk) 03:44, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
