Aramaics[edit]

"The Aramaics are a Catholic minority in Syria and Turkey." I have tried to link this term ("Aramaics") to an entry in the encyclopedia. Is that the only term the group is known by? Avalon 19:50, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for the help on wikifying. I know nothing on the subject; I only saw the article on creation and decided it was worth a cleanup before reviewing for deletion. It needs verification and if that can be acheived the notability can take a back chair in keeping the article. Good work. TKE 01:31, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"The Aramaics are a Catholic minority in Syria and Turkey." - This statement suggests that Catholicism is the predominant religion among the Aramaics while in fact the Aramaics are mostly either Catholics or Orthodox. I don't rule out there may be Catholic Aramaics but I've never heard of any significant group of Aramaics professing Catholicism.--89.191.241.225 (talk) 14:41, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Traditional rites[edit]

"There he conducts the Mass according to the traditional rites of the Catholic Church." What does this mean - the Tridentine Mass? Has Boniface been disciplined by the Church? Avalon 19:50, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

needs serious neutralization[edit]

This article should be compared to its counterpart on the French wikipedia, much more detailed and sourced, and more respectful of reality. Here, the article has obviously been written as a propaganda tool for "Père Samuel"'s followers. --Pylambert (talk) 08:59, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
