Move or Removal?[edit]

This bamboo is not a species as far as my information suggests. Furthermore the article is non-existent as it is only pictures and very unprofessional text. Please fix it or move it or something. Djlayton4 | talk | contribs 01:41, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Flora of China[1] states clearly that the plant known in the west as Fargesia rufa is not the species.Djlayton4 | talk | contribs 19:49, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, the photos have been moved to Fargesia 'Rufa', which is a cultivar, and the new information present represent the species. Djlayton4 | talk | contribs 01:09, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know, 13,000+ results must mean it doesn't exist. --Cngodles 14:59, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I never stated that it doesn't exist, but rather that it is a cultivar or hybrid and it is falsely presented as a species. Djlayton4 | talk | contribs 19:43, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I cleaned up the article and added a taxobox. I'm not familiar with this species at all, but most likely it has a cultivar name. I'll look around to see if I can find it. I don't think we need to move or delete. At least one image can stay, noting the Flora of China reference. All taxa are notable, even if just a stub. --Rkitko (talk) 20:32, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
