Fair use rationale for Image:E11049.jpg[edit]

Image:E11049.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Billie Jean[edit]

Cultural impact on par with Billie Jean, yet to a lesser scale? The wording is awkward and the truth is ambiguous. 24.187.110.140 (talk) 16:25, 31 July 2009 (UTC) re-edit for formatting 24.187.110.140 (talk) 14:08, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DIAL511[edit]

Question 1 – Writing an Academic Essay (Marks: 100) In this summative project question, you are required to bring together all you have learnt from your research and writing in the two formative projects and throughout the module, and apply that to the project topic.

Write an essay (1000 – 1300 words) in which you present and explain your own position on, and evidence for, the project topic:

Currently, higher education is too difficult to pass in South Africa. The pass mark should be lowered to 30% for all higher education modules.

To complete your essay effectively, make sure you follow all the instructions below:

1. Revise all the Learn content and your notes on the purpose, structure, and process of writing an academic essay.

2. Work through and implement all feedback you received from Projects 1 and 2, your ICE task submissions, and your Learn activities to ensure you demonstrate all that you have learnt about improving your academic writing skills. In particular, you will be marked on how well you have implemented all feedback on your essay outline from Project 2 in your final essay.

3. Create a new MS Word document. Make sure your page orientation is set to “portrait”, your margins are set to “normal”, and your font style and size is set to Calibri 12 point, with 1.5 line spacing. Save your document with the following file name (adapted accordingly): Your Full Name_Module Code_Summative Project.

4. Write your essay. Please take note of the maximum word count – i.e. 1300 words. Your lecturer/tutor will not mark beyond this limit, so if you submit a 1500-word essay, you could lose marks allocated to the conclusion of your argument if this falls into the 200 words not marked.

5. Include at least three relevant quotes from credible sources and at least three instances of relevant paraphrasing of credible sources throughout the essay. All quotes and paraphrases must be accurately and appropriately referenced in-text and in a reference list using The IIE Harvard method. 6. As part of your argument evidence, include at least two relevant examples and at least one relevant counterargument and rebuttal to support your position on the topic. 7. Edit and proofread your work before you submit to ensure your spelling, grammar, format, and structure is accurate and the essay is highly readable throughout. 8. Work through the marking rubric (in Appendix A) to make sure you have covered all required aspects of this question in your essay. This rubric is what your lecturer/tutor will use to assess your summative response. 9. Submit your saved MS Word document using the appropriate summative project submission link on Learn on or before the due date. NB – do not resubmit Project 1 and 2, or your ICE Tasks. This summative project is a stand-alone submission. write 1200 to 1500 words The title must be : The Difficulty of Passing higher education in South Africa: Should pass rate be lowered?....nd on body must right all headings for each paragraphs and it must be about loadsheading ,and add other difficulties don't reference do bibliography .... don't use informal language, repetition and emotional language 1200 words or 1300 words and do not repeat words , do not use informal language and emotional language write with paragraphs Introduction 2 paragraphs Body write 2 paragraphs on each heading conclusions 2 paragraphs and do repeat words don't use informal language and emotional language Tshegofatso koza (talk) 15:08, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
