Unreferenced nonsense[edit]

An IP editor added these statements on 22 November 2014:

"He was responsible for the creation of the Dakota Emancipation Act, which separated North and South Dakota due to irreconcilable differences between the two states. Goss went on to join the Dakota Nationalist Party which attempted a war with Canada."

The few web search hits for 'Dakota Emancipation Act' and 'Dakota Nationalist Party' occur only in this article. The article Dakota Territory tells a rather different story.
