Editing out opinions, promotional language[edit]

I've made and am making a number of edits to this article based on WP:NOTPROMOTION.

Statements like "...has been truly grace-laden realization of a holy aspiration...", "No less than Divine Providence could amply cause...", and "trained to become competent and efficient educators" are expressions of opinion, not of fact. They should not be included in an encyclopedia. Unfortunately, they're twined throughout the "History" section, making it almost impossible to edit them out without excising the whole section.

I've removed a section titled "Profile" for the same reason. Note that the WikiProject Schools guidelines expressly state, "School articles should specifically not [italics theirs] include... [c]opies of the school's mission statement, aims, or goals".

A third section that I've removed discussed the parish, with no mention of the school; it seemed irrelevant to this article. Ammodramus (talk) 18:20, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
