Hi! to avoid another controversy, I want to ask if it would be better for the "Album" section if it was divided under "studio", "compilations", "live" and "EPs" like most if not all discography articles do! And plus it makes those links on the Infobox useful!! Notice also the table structure changes, collected the singles that had the same year or album, and I made a small table for singles as a featured performer. It would all look like this:

It does not matter whether it's a redone version included along with other remixes in the compilation Eros, the fact and the matter is that it was chosen to be released as a single within Central Europe [2] [3]. You are misinterpreting your very own link which you seem to be quite fond of, I meant it as a sarcasm in hopes that maybe it would help you understand it better. Please read closely the point #3 Non-original or previously-released material used on soundtracks, trailers, commercials, or any other compilation releases, it nowhere mentions anything about studio-redone versions especially featuring other artists. If you still dilly-dally, now read point #2 unless officially released, meaning they all could be included within the table because they all have been officially released including Terra Promessa.--Harout72 (talk) 04:51, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

3rd party opinion on a few current issues[edit]

User:Udonknome asked me if I would comment on the discography a little bit, I suppose because I'm currently involved in Discography Wikiproject. I also wrote a proposal for style guidelines of the project, which everyone seems to be quoting already, which is great! However, I would like to stress that the guideline is currently just a proposal, nothing is set in stone yet. In fact, it obviously still needs to be worked on a bit, since it doesn't really cover issues like the one you guys seem to be having with this discography, namely with the re-release of Terra promessa in 1998. It also doesn't take into account an artist who's had so many releases that they fill up more then on screen and require multiple column headers.

So, to the question at hand: if I understand correctly, the single was initially released in 1984, and then re-released in 1998 as a remixed version, which also featured additional artists. Since this is a discography (not a songography), the important thing to consider is if it was actually re-released: ie was it eligible for charts, did radio stations play it, could you find the new version in a record store, etc, etc. I don't know the answer to that, but if it was re-released as I described above as a different version, then it does warrant a mention in the singles table. However, what worries me is that the singles table currently says that the re-release charted exactly the same as the original, which can't possibly be right.

As far as the chart colors go, my personal feeling is to not use them, but that's just a personal taste type thing. There's no rule for that, and I'm not sure if they ever will be or should be. Hope my opinions helped a little, but keep in mind that it's exactly that: my opinion. Let me know if you have any more questions or need any further help. Più bella cosa[edit]

Hello, I just wanted to ask someone to correct the certification of the single Più bella cosa. The right certification in France would be gold not silver: https://snepmusique.com/les-certifications/?interprete=Eros%20Ramazzotti. I've tried, but I don't know how without damaging it. Actually, it's certified Silver only, check the source. The updated version of SNEP isn't programmed accurately to bring up any of the Silver awards that SNEP once had for singles until July 2009. The older SNEP site which is still available for most years in the archive, supports the Silver award for 1998 version of "Cose Della Vita", for example, but it comes up as Gold in SNEP's updated version here.--Harout72 (talk) 16:29, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
