Twelfth album claim[edit]

There is no source, other than the claim by "Fact Magazine", which clarifies whether this is their twelfth album or whether this is an extended play in the most literal of ways. Until there is, a "citation needed" note would make sense. --lmaxmai (talk) 11:37, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I just added a Pitchfork review as a source. It also refers to it as an album. And this search indicates basically everyone is calling it an album, so I don't think it's controversial. —Torchiest ^talk_edits 13:31, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If some persons are not properly informed and this manifests in search engine results, does that represent consensus or rather that some persons are not properly informed? I would say that it is controversial to refer to a release as a specific type if such a classification was confirmed neither by the artist, nor by their record label. The three sources listed for the first paragraph are two announcements by the record label, where the type of release is not specifically referred to in one instance and in the other it is referred to as "new music". The third source is an article by a music magazine, which refers to the release as their "twelfth studio album", yet without citing a source. In addition, another music magazine mentioned in the article has provided individual ratings for the five releases. There might therefore be a certain relevance to clarifying whether this is an album, an extended play or a series of extended plays. In case such clarification is not possible, the article should refrain from classifying and instead note that a proper classification is not possible at this time. --lmaxmai (talk) 04:40, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

use of DISPLAYTITLE[edit]
