First female black photographer in South Carolina[edit]

I'm not sure that we can take the word of a grand-niece on this. Probably the first recorded black female photographer in the US is probably Mary E. Warren in 1866 in Texas. It seems unlikely that South Carolina would take 56 years to catch up. All the best: Rich Farmbrough, 20:26, 2 May 2017 (UTC).[reply]
