Derogatory slur[edit]

I am on unsure ground with the nature of the title as a Google search seems to suggest it has been reclaimed by Mexican ex-pats to some degree (lots of restaurants and hotels using the name), but can't find any sources related to the comic to function as a rebuttal. However, as it seems to at least be up for debate per threads on the likes of Quora and Reddit it seems wrong to just ignore a mention of potential controversy.
