Are we sure this is based on El Cerrito?[edit]
The ref did not actually prove this so I removed it. And with talk of Brea and joshua trees, this does not sound like the Bay Area. It's either a corruption of Cerritos (also iffy---I don't think they have joshua trees either) or it's just a name used fictionally. Thmazing (talk) 07:33, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
Maybe your just over thinking it a bit, listen to the Keith Gattis version and you can hear the honesty in his voice.
