Edit proposal with correct information[edit]

Ms Edy Vessel's biography needs some changes: 1) Her lastname is VESEL (with just one "S" even if she's better known as VESSEL) and not Vesselowsy 2) Her date of birth is not March 8th 1940 but October 23rd 1940. 3) Ms Edy Vessel has been a chorus girl in a Wanda Osiris revue, but it is not al all significant compared to her whole biography. It should be deleted. 4) In respect to her own privacy the sentence about her second marriage ("remarried to Pierluigi Vitalini and") should be deleted.

I've tried to correct the page once but someone overwrote our changes with old wrong information Do I need to give someone evidence of what I am saying? Every help will be much appreciated :-)

IMPORTANT: I've noticed some wrong informations on IMDB database! I'm trying to contact IMDB too to change them.

Yes you have to give evidence of what you are saying, as English Wikipedia's articles are based on reliable secondary sources, read our guidelines (especially WP:VERIFICATION and WP:RS) for more informations. Vessel's birth name and birth date are widely reported in reliable sources including a reputable printed encyclopedia such as the Dizionario del cinema italiano by Poppi-Lancia (and fyi IMDb is not considered reliable for biographical informations, see WP:RS/IMDB). About her stage career with Osiris and her marriage with Count Vitalini, they appear to be significant enough as for being widely cited in the biographical sources about Vessel, and our biographic articles simply document what these sources say in a neutral way. About privacy of public figures, our policy says, "If an allegation or incident is noteworthy, relevant, and well documented, it belongs in the article – even if it is negative and the subject dislikes all mention of it" (read WP:BLP for more info).
