Reasons for clean-up tag[edit]

Of the two Teds, neither are Edwards, they are Edwin and Albert Edward, with no suggestion that either were known as Edward. The other two on here are a similar name (Thorp) and a partial name match (Thomas Edward Thorpe), whose article doesn't suggest he was ever known as Edward Thorpe. • The objection that the article and the Dab should agree abt the chemist being called ET or not, but the fault turns out to be in the article, not the Dab. The article needs to reflect what is in its own ref to an issue of Analyst:
SIR EDWARD THORPE, C.B., F.R.S.
is the title of his obit, with exact vital stats of the article.
With the Teds, AET could be as similar case where the article is the problem -- or not. I think of both Ted and Ned as short for Edward (tho i'm not too shocked by the Edwin), and i can imagine a user reading "Ned Thorpe" and falsely anticipating that the article name will be "Edward Thorpe", and trying to go directly there. It still belongs under See also, but should not IMO be removed.
