Untitled[edit]

I am a student at a school, and my teacher said that they were not aloud to tell the story of Edward II's death. I later found out, and do you think that this was fair that they wern't aloud to tell??

This unsigned and undated comment is entirely irrelevant to biography of the Earl of Manchester.Cloptonson (talk) 22:39, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Knight of the Bath[edit]

There was no such thing as a Knight Companion of the Order of the Bath before the coronation of King George I. Knights of the Bath were knights who were made with several days' ceremony, including a bath and an all-night vigil, on such major occasions as a coronation, a royal wedding, or the investiture and dubbing of the Prince of Wales. This distinguishes them from the knights who simply received the accolade on the conclusion of a victorious battle, or other off-hand occasion. There was no corporation, no membership list, no officers; they were an order only in the sense that priesthood is an order. I will slightly adjust the text. Robert Rich[edit]

"Lady Anne Montagu (d. 1689), who married her second cousin Robert Rich, 5th Earl of Warwick, the son of Henry Rich, 1st Earl of Holland"

Robert is not mentioned among the children of Henry Rich in the article about him. --INS Pirat (talk) 11:27, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
