English

The Ministry of Education etc. is implementing "the Cambridge program," which it hopes will be in place within a decade and is designed to put Mongolian education on a par with British and other European education. It includes compulsory English taught to a level adequate for admission to British universities. When/If I get a hold of a copy of the government plans, I'll add the information and ref.

Currently, in the capital there is a large number of private "academies" (schools, centers, clubs etc.) where English is taught to adults and as vacation, after-school and week-end classes to children.Kdammers (talk) 03:25, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
