OHS[edit]

Information on the OHS should probably be next up; it's looking a tad anemic. I'll probably make some updates on the morrow or so.--Screenmaster16 02:34, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The logo that had been displayed is not the EPGY logo. It is just a graphic that has been used from time to time on the CDs.

Summer Institutes[edit]

The section labeled "Summer Institutes" was copied directly from the EPGY Summer Institutes website, and was not edited to adhere to reference source style. It reads more like an advertisement than an encyclopedic entry. The section should also be greatly reduced in length as this section about one particular program in EPGY is almost as long as the rest of the article. Ryan.km 06:46, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

name change[edit]

EPGY is no more, it's now called the "Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies" program. I updated the article to reflect this, but just FYI. Also, the article should probably be moved to a more accurate name now, with EPGY and Education Program for Gifted Youth functioning as redirects. Copy&paste moves[edit]

This page was "moved" by copying and pasting the content to Education Program for Gifted Youth at Stanford University. That shouldn't be done; for licensing reasons we need to move the page history along with the content. See WP:Moving a page on how to do so. I've tagged the target for speedy deletion so we can move this page properly. Huon (talk) 03:23, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why was this moved?[edit]

The last time I checked, the only reason under Wikipedia policy for a longer name is for disambiguation purposes, but there is no other EPGY. Accordingly, it makes no sense to have "at Stanford University" in the article title when this is the one and only. --Coolcaesar (talk) 06:22, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I concur, the previous name was better. Int21h (talk) 16:03, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed it. Turns out the responsible user was banned by ArbCom last December. --Coolcaesar (talk) 17:37, 25 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This article is an inaccurate mess[edit]

It turns out that a large chunk of the original EPGY math and physics courses were kept by Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies and are now offered under the unwieldy name of "Stanford Pre-Collegiate University-Level Online Math & Physics." Only the K-8 programs and some of the high school lower division courses were transferred to Redbird. --Coolcaesar (talk) 06:14, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
