Edward? Campion[edit]

As of 21 Apr 2024, the comment on Hanmer's work, The Jesuites Banner, 1581, states that is was written against Edward Campion, a pseudonym for Gerard Edwards. But Edwards wasn't ordained until 1587, and didn't come to public attention until his return to England and his capture that same year. This almost has to refer instead to Edmund Campion, who was martyred in 1581. Does anyone have a clear reference? JohnGHissong (talk) 04:29, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
