Stories section[edit]

I'm not sure including people's personal medical details in the documentary article is WP:DUE or appropriate. Yes, they agreed to be in the documentary; however, it seems a bit intrusive to me to provide these specific details about non-notable living people on a site with the reach of Wikipedia. Schazjmd (talk) 22:10, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On second thought, I'm removing the section on WP:BLP grounds. Please discuss its inclusion before putting it back in. Schazjmd (talk) 22:12, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

The article currently has no sources about the documentary, only references for various health claims. Sources from independent, reliable sources about the documentary are necessary to support notability. Schazjmd (talk) 22:15, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Deseret News RSP entry has a review of the movie that indicates that its current form might be whitewashing the movie's WP:PROFRINGE nature. Ian.thomson (talk) 22:24, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ian.thomson, good find on the review. I'd already removed some of the worst language ("exposes the reality" etc). Schazjmd (talk) 22:28, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I did not mean to imply that you were in any way responsible for the white washing, Schazjmd. From what I remember the last time this article was made (citing nothing but RT (TV network)), it was pretty clear that a policy-compliant article about this movie would be perceived by its fans as quite negative. Ian.thomson (talk) 22:36, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm done. Very few actual reviews...the Deseret was the only thorough one. I don't know if there's enough to justify lifting the notability tag though. I see the creator is an EDU editor, I feel like I've been fixing up someone's homework. Schazjmd (talk) 23:13, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

I removed the references in the plot summary, as they were about the specific health claims made in the documentary and not about the documentary itself. The film is the source for a plot summary. Any independent reliable sources that discuss the content of the film can be cited in the summary as well. Schazjmd (talk) 20:18, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reception[edit]

Content in the Reception section should be what independent sources say about the film, not what the people involved in the film say about it or themselves. Schazjmd (talk) 21:58, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. And WP:DUE weight for the Today bit would amount to 'there was an interview'. We need WP:MEDRSs to make any claims as to whether or not Kennamer's health improved, not just Dr. Azer saying general advice to improve one's diet. If we're going to go on at length as the article currently does, we should note that Dr. Azer does mention that there's not really any evidence right now, specifically avoided describing anything as a "cure," and that it should be adopted with the guidance of a nutritionist.
