Unverifiable content[edit]

Content that is unverifiable (no published sources identified supporting it) may be challenged and removed. Editors restoring the challenged material have the burden of providing in-line citations that support what they restore. Recently content has been challenged and removed for this reason. Unfortunately, after having been warned that published sources were required and that it could be restored by including a citation, they restore the material without meeting their burden and removed the warning from their talk page. Wikipedia verifiability policy makes it clear that editors should not add content to articles based on their personal knowledge or original research.
