Contested deletion[edit]

The article should not be deleted because the artist Evan Sewell Wallace was an important artist to many. He released his own albums, he put out dozens of single songs. He collabed with many artists. He was a subjectively great artist, and while he was not notable or famous to mainstream media, the non-mainstream fans of him loved his music. Keeping his page on wikipedia would be a wonderful way to immortalize this artist.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:410:301:B9E0:247F:2A5B:8C36:65ED (talk) 00:53, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

E-dubble was a massive influence on many people, and his recent passing at the young age of 34 made us realize his importance, and we need to keep his world spinning.

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because while E-Dubble was not the most popular, he had a decent fanbase with 400k subscribers on youtube and millions of views overall. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.242.156.108 (talk) 22:27, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because e-dubble had a significant impact on many people's lives. While more content needs to be added to this page, e-dubble is not someone that should just be forgotten as he made a large impact on many people as well as the hip hop.rap community. The reddit thread on /r/hiphopheads announcing his death shows this (link below).

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because E-Dubble recently died and this page does a good job of documenting that.

I speak from personal experience - I found out about him earlier today and it was only for this article that I became aware that he died. It's stub-like but it definitely isn't worthy of deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.5.199.113 (talk) 07:30, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Why on Earth would you delete a page about someone who died barely 5 months ago? He needs to be remembered. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ManMike (talkcontribs) 15:54, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No need for a complete discography[edit]

I have seen two editors adding a full discography. their edits are ostensibly identical (compare [1] to [2] so I believe that they are the same editor. In short, the reasons I keep removing it are simple: 1) it goes against MOS:LAYOUT with short sections for each non-notable recording 2) it is mostly unsourced, granted that a source is present for Freestyle Fridays, but the detail for that work is too large 3) there are formatting and other manual of style issue. The third issue can most likely be addressed once the WP:UNDUE and WP:NOTDIARY issues have been addressed, and the layout problems are relatively easy to work through, but my main question is why do we suddenly need details on these non-notable works? Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:25, 12 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have incorporated both of the sources and some of the material that was no already covered in the biography, merged it with what was already present, formatted it and tagged it as needing references. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:46, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
