I have finished writing the article, no copied text here. Asiaticus (talk) 21:03, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Asiaticus, I came here to look at the bot report, and I'm a little concerned to find that there does indeed seem to have been some copying or close-paraphrasing of the source, as this report appears to confirm. Can you cast any light? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 08:56, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Had a limited source of information. I honed it down while trying to be as complete and informative as possible about the subject. Don't know what else could be done and still say anything useful.Asiaticus (talk) 09:20, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Asiaticus, the blm.gov site is public domain, as I should have noticed before; in general, however, whatever you write must be in your own words. There is an almost unlimited number of ways of expressing the same concepts in different language. If you should happen to copy material from a public domain source again you will need to provide attribution of the source. You can use {{Source-attribution}} to do this.
