Dororo's Gender.[edit]

I would like to clarify some confusion over Dororo's Gender. Dororo behaves and speaks like a young boy although she is anatomically female, a girl. Until episode 8 of the 2019 series she appeared to everyone as a boy. In Episode 9, the priestess reveals to Hyakkimaru that Dororo is actually anatomically female, calling Dororo "young girl" after removing Dororo's clothes to wash them. In episode 16, the bandit Itachi discovers that she is a girl after he strips off Dororo's clothes looking for the map. Dororo maintains her boy-like appearance, but episode summaries should refer to her using the pronoun "she". Ozflashman (talk) 06:19, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
