Lecture behavior[edit]

I made mention of his charismatic teaching but referenced the skyrocketing course enrollment as evidence of his popularity on campus. A whole section on lecture behavior is not needed, and sounds a little creepy. I enjoyed his class, but to write in detail about his "lecture behavior" seems to cross the line into obsession. Added a link to a interview with Bill Gates who mentions Donald and his popular course. I think this is a pretty notable refference... 64.81.137.9 (talk) 15:57, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that Sadoway's course is popular does not necessarily imply that the man himself is popular. Solid-state chemistry stresses semiconductors and electronics-related topics, so 3.091 may be more useful to people interested in electronics (a large percentage of the MIT student body) than the other chemistry classes offered. I know some students that love him, and some other students that hate him as well. Because Wikipedia should be as objective as possible, we should consider removing or restructuring the statements on Sadoway's popularity cloudguitar (talk) 19:50, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
