genetic vs. evolutionary[edit]

  • Genetic divergence, the process in which two or more populations of an ancestral species accumulate independent genetic changes
  • Evolutionary divergence, the accumulation of differences between populations of closely related species

I cannot see a difference between these concepts. Indeed the corresponding article contents are very similar. Though, one can argue that Divergent evolution is slightly different term, still evolutionary/genetic divergence is exactly the same phenomena. This is the wrong place to bring this up. The right place would be the talk page for one of the two articles. Either propose a merge or start a discussion about whether a merge would be appropriate. --Srleffler (talk) 12:37, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Order is muddled[edit]

I made changes which included properly alphabetising terms so that "divergent" would not be jumbled along with "divergence", among other changes, which were reverted. I personally think that separating the Arts section into Books, Films, and Music is more helpful to the user, but this could be a matter for discussion. I tried a compromise reordering. See what you think. The rationale is in our discussion on my talk page.--Srleffler (talk) 07:33, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks. I think that is better. I added some publication and release dates, and thought that separating film and TV might be helpful in this instance. It is not against the rules to repeat in different sections, so another possibility is to also add the 2014 film to the film section. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 08:48, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
