"Medusa" or "Medussa"?[edit]

Several editors have in the past switched back and forth between the spelling of this song title, latest here. So which one is correct? I found two links where it is spelled Medussa [1] [2] although I don't think they qualify as reliable by WP standards. Anyone got the original vinyl LP, or a better source? – IbLeo (talk) 17:39, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to the track listing on the 1999 German BMG CD reissue (now in my possession), the song title is spelled "Medussa". As no-one else have bothered to comment on this, I will update the article accordingly. – IbLeo (talk) 10:48, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I happen to own the German pressing of the LP from 1974. It states "Medusa" (as the Yugoslav pressing seems to as well). I renamed with two refs. The "Medussa" spelling seems to date either from the CD age and/or US editions of Sweet material. I have no US edition, but my CD from 1999 clearly states "Medussa".--Paracel63 (talk) 01:38, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Precision: it seems the first UK CD edition also spells "Medusa". So the remaster may be to blame for this.--Paracel63 (talk) 01:57, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Album name[edit]

Where does the name come from ? Is it a reference to something ? -- Beardo (talk) 14:59, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
