English[edit]

This article contains many awkward phrases and appears to be written by someone not fluent in English. It also doesn't read like an encyclopedia. I am a native speaker and can assist in copyediting, but I am not at all knowledgeable on the subject of the Deori. Could someone knowledgeable on the subject add information, especially in the intro and religion sections? Mtthwknnd4 (talk) 18:31, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

English[edit]

Most of the history in this article seems to be mythical. The Khamtis during the Ahoms didnt exist according to popular books and claiming that deoris were living in sadiya is not true as Sadiya was built during the 13th century by the second Sutiya king Gaurinarayan. The writer of the article seems to defame the Chutiyas who had a glorious chapter in the history of Assam. Chow.akash.gohain (talk) 15:25, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect and faculty information[edit]

The deori don't follow Ekarasana Dharma, they follow their indigenous faith "Kundisim" which is a folk religion. Jagatkumota (talk) 22:49, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
