Comment[edit]

Since ApIvor was born in Ireland, I am not sure if he should be addressed as British. MarkBeer 08:20, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

He was born in Ireland of Welsh parents, but the family moved back to Wales when he was five. He then resided in Britain for the rest of his life. I would say that's a pretty strong reason for calling him a British composer. Note also that the Guardian obituary calls him "a British pioneer of modernist trends from the continent".Matve 10:19, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Then I believe it is better to tell the origin of his parents to eliminate the confusion. I have made corresponding edition. MarkBeer 03:57, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Makes sense. I can live with that! Matve 15:02, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
