Democratic Alternative (Malta)Alternattiva Demokratika – 'Alternattiva Demokratika' is the real name of the party, as evidenced by the party's own website. 'Democratic Alternative' is just the Anglicised version. Joe Gatt (talk) 22:10, 16 December 2015 (UTC) Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 11:35, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. The Maltese language name appears in the first line of the article anyway. But in the English language Wikipedia, the Anglicised version is clearer to the reader, as per MOS:FOREIGN. The French wikipedia lists Alternative démocratique (Malte), the Polish Wikipedia lists Alternatywa Demokratyczna, and so on. -- Ham105 (talk) 05:03, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • 'Comment WP:OFFICIALNAME we do not use official names just because they are official. WP:USEENGLISH this is English Wikipedia, we use English on English Wikipedia. Do you have evidence that the proposed name is used in English by others in general, and not just the official website? -- 70.51.44.60 (talk) 23:59, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
