Hardcore[edit]

How is this album in anyway hardcore? It's not even punk. To be correct, this album's genre is a mix of Metalcore/Post-hardcore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.226.202.64 (talk) 04:49, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Promotion[edit]

I think I may be one of the few who think Underoath's comments on the album's leak are purely for promotional purposes. I don't doubt they're telling the truth but a part of me doesn't think there's anything missing from the leaked version of the album (save for it being mastered which is quite evident by the rawness of the songs). The album's going to leak again once it's mastered anyway so commenting on the album "missing parts" seems to be pure promotion in my opinion. I just thought I'd put in my two-cents here. –Wlmaltby3 09:29, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd forgotten about the fact that "To Whom it May Concern" isn't a complete track. As far as I'm concerned that's the only track that's missing parts (obviously). I guess we'll have to wait and see (or hear) when the time comes. –Wlmaltby3 09:30, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I never thought of that - Supmyman7 01:41, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Salmarnir[edit]

This track on the CD contains lyrics from some language other than English. (My guesses are Hebrew or Latin) Does somebody know what language this is in, or better yet, what the man is saying? --Syhususi 18:55, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, never mind, I answered my own question! The man is reciting Psalm 50 in Russian. --Syhususi 02:46, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- How do you know? -- supmyman7 22:31, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's icelandic and the word Salmarnir means "Psalms" in Icelandic.

Mathcore[edit]

Some of this is Mathcore.

mathcore ? not quite. check out real mathcore like between the buried and me or PROTEST THE HERO. this is not mathcore. most songs are completely in common time, most dont even have a breakdown, and the work surely isnt technical enough to be considered mathcore. fairly good cd, but not math.

-henry

Ok I'll go with that.

The Chariot is also mathcore.

Record?[edit]

Is this album's success on the Billboard 200 Chart a record for the metalcore genre? Metalcore Boy 10:38, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
