One bogus fact, many bogus reactions

Oh please. I "vandalized" Rebecca's site by adding an obvious bogus, farcical statement to it during a seminar discussing the reliability of Wikipedia; it referred to something Rebecca is occasionally teased about good-naturedly. As the 25 people there will attest, the point of my discussion-opener was not that that Wikipedia is unreliable, but to the contrary: The traditional sources of reliability don't explain the fact of Wikipedia's reliability, so what else does? (The Harvard Crimson's short piece of reportage on the session didn't get it entirely right.) (from Dweinberger)

Removing prod tag

I'm removing the prod tag from this article. Weinberger is widely known and cited in on issues of Web technologies and surrounding issues, social tagging and web search for example. Additionally, he's written two rather notable books, Cluetrain Manifesto and Small Pieces Loosely Joined. These are just a couple of many verifiable claims to notability for Weinberger. This person will be a presenter at Wikimania, and as such we can expect this article to get more traffic than usual. Now would be a great time improve if possible, and make sure everything is accurate! Brassratgirl 20:14, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

This article is a favorite of banned user Amorrow. I removed one of his edits today. His IP addresses are mostly from 75, 68, or 69. I know the edit is his from the other edits done by the IP address around the same time. FloNight ^talk 11:50, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
