Untitled[edit]

The article has been edited so that it no longer reads like an advertisement. Namely, almost all of the adjectives and superlatives have been removed. Does it now meet the guidelines if Wikipedia so the warning boxes can be removed?

This article does not state that David Strassman is mostly known for ventriloquism (strongly enough). Nor does it show his British TV Chat show on ITV one nor his DVD releases.

If anyone has the title of the DVD release could this be put in the article as I am activly seeking this information. He is best know with his puppet chuck wood!

i think you should put more information about his family in the present day !

this is a very bad site it does not even tell us were he was born or anything about his family —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.185.81.199 (talk) 08:25, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to Page: Added citations, add family, DVD releases, performances and citations — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pqmcmahon (talkcontribs) 17:23, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to Page: links to personal IMDb pages have been removed. Thank you Kinu, we really value your input! We hope these last changes will fix the problem you noted. If not, we would value you advice. Pqmcmahon

This article still contains few, if any, reliable sources. The conflict of interest is also blatant. Please do not remove the maintenance tags until these issues are addressed. Also, who is "we"? --Kinu t/c 04:57, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Kinu, I have engaged a third party, someone I have never met, to make the changes to satisfy Wiki content guidelines in my page so citations can be removed. I have looked at the page and the criteria has been met. I will remove the citations. If you have a problem with anything, please feel free to identify what the issues are on this page so you and I can go about our merry way. "WE" is a grammatical error. -David Strassman — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cchuckwood (talkcontribs) 23:07, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your comment makes the conflict of interest blatant. The sources also do not meet WP:RS. I have restored the tags. --Kinu t/c 03:18, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Kinu, I am at a loss. How can I fix my page? I am a real person having experienced real events. Do I wait until a stranger comes along and decides to edit the page to satisfy Wiki guidelines? Please help. Who can or will fix my page? Will you, Kinu? 10:08, 14 March 2014 AET Cchuckwood (talk) 00:09, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Short answer? Yes. Editing an article about yourself is a bad idea because recognizing conflict of interest is impossible. Many of the sources clearly do not meet WP:RS (YouTube, Hulu, SongKick, places where one can buy tickets to your shows/your released material, etc.). Continually removing the tags is disruptive. Likewise, your claim that this other editor is a neutral third party is contradicted by statements made on my talk page. --Kinu t/c 06:23, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply, Kinu. Please tell me where or who I can find a third party to fix my page? The "Neutral Third party" was a stranger hired on Odesk to fix the issues you have outlined. This "third party", has no motive but to do the job correctly and satisfy Wiki Guidelines, not mine. How is that a "conflict of interest"? This is getting tiresome. Again... Who can fix my page if I'm not allowed to contact someone to do so? Will your weiner dog help? Your advice is greatly appreciated. 02:48, 20 March 2014 (AET) Cchuckwood (talk)
