Possibly-ambiguous phrase in lead[edit]

In the lead paragraph: "... books on various subjects ranging from temple myths, temple poems to essays that cover ...". Although I have attempted to repair this somewhat ungrammatical construction by replacing the comma with "and", I'm only about ninety percent sure that that's the meaning that was intended: My guess is that "temple myths" is part of what the books are ranging from — (temple myths and temple poems) to (essays that cover...) — but it seems slightly possible that the construction was an awkward attempt to somehow further explicate "temple myths". (Ordinarily I wouldn't even consider that a possibility, but in this case the construct is already known to be an awkward attempt at something, so why not an awkward attempt at something other than the most obvious.) --Pi zero (talk) 10:56, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Neve Gordon and David Dean Shulman from Counterpunch[edit]

CounterPunch is deprecated, but exceptions are allowed. Amigao expunges at sight a CounterPunch article co-authored by Neve Gordon and David Dean Shulman, leading scholars in their field. The source is Ehud Krinis, David Shulman and Neve Gordon, ‘Facing an Imminent Threat of Expulsion,’ CounterPunch June 22, 2007.ed by Neve Gordon and David Dean Shulman are leading scholars in their field. Shulman in particular, aside from being one of the foremost experts on Southern Indian languages, has written 2 books on the topic referred to, and has continued to spend every Sabbath among the peoples of South Hebron, whose language he has mastered ande history he knows with unparalleled intimacy. He is literally the best reporting scholar in this area. Excluding such quality sources on abstract grounds without considering the status of the authors in their field makes no sense encyclopedically.
