Dr. Laura Dassow Walls[edit]

Now that Dr. Laura Dassow Walls has received a Guggenheim Fellowship, I believe that she should be considered notable and an article should be created about her. Unfortunately, since I have the same last name as her maiden name, I believe I would have a conflict of interest. According to a University of South Carolina press release:

Dr. Laura Dassow Walls has long wanted to write a biography of Henry David Thoreau that introduces him to a new generation and connects him to the 21st century. With the recent award of a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship, the University of South Carolina English professor will be able to achieve her goal. ...
