Untitled[edit]

This isn't much of an article if you ask me. Maybe if the article actually spoke about Danny Wells himself, it would be. - User:Nintendo Maximus

Charles Martinet[edit]

I don't buy the idea of Martinet basing his voice for Luigi on Danny Wells. They sound nothing alike to me. I marked this statement as "citation needed". - furrykef (Talk at me) 16:47, 25 May 2006 (UTC) I do kind of think Martinet's impression of Luigi sounds vaguely like Danny Wells on the Super Mario Brothers Super Show, but only just barely.Unknown Dragon 01:02, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The two portrayals are similar in that in both cases, Luigi's voice is lower than Mario's, so that's what the article means by that. Also consider that Luigi was originally voiced by a separate person. Charles Martinet does both voices.

I would say Martinet sounds more similar to Tony Rosato. --Scottandrewhutchins 19:09, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kmart commercial[edit]

I saw that commercial on YouTube and saved it to my favorites. WAVY 10 13:32, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Death[edit]

It appears that Wells died a few days ago. An IP added this information, but since it was unsourced, Discospinster removed it promptly. It does appear to be true, though: [1] Jinkinson talk to me 01:51, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Roles[edit]

I don't think he was in even half of those shows. For example: I can't find any source saying he was in Bakugan Battle Brawlers. 2605:E000:1300:2055:1843:9BC4:A579:BA2 (talk) 22:15, 27 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

In an attempt to expand this article on the actor Danny Wells, I am starting a discussion here in hopes that contributing editors will talk and converse before reverting or deleting my contributions. If you have arrived, my hope is that you are here for one of two reasons: 1) To assist in building a better article on WP - and - 2) to see an actor's biography represent their life and career to the best of our ability as editors and contributors. The largest obstacle in expanding this article on Danny Wells is that most of his coverage came after his death; not during his lifetime. Though his career spanned several decades and was prolific, references are posthumous; which some may deem questionable. However, I have tried to assemble as many sources as I could find to better this article. Thank you. Maineartists (talk) 23:01, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dead Link[edit]

"According to his cousin, television reviewer Alan Sepinwall, Wells worked steadily throughout the 1970s and 1980s.[source required]" Also, Sepinwall's input is not needed. That Wells was busy in 70s and 80s is obvious by reviewing his IMdB profile. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:7080:102:5800:DC0A:17CE:E587:81EA (talk) 11:06, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
