Youngest President[edit]

Daniel Noboa is the youngest democratically elected president of Ecuador, but the youngest president ever, was Juan José Flores who was 30 years old at the time of his inauguration as first president ever in 1830. Uio95 (talk) 16:47, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Ymblanter He was born in Miami (his mother gave birth there), and this is because the sources say so. There is not a single reference that I have removed regarding him being the son of people from Guayaquil and being raised there. The confusion arises from the fact that foreign media did not delve much into the issue of his birth because they only relied on his political profiles, but not on Ecuadorian sources. What you removed was an Ecuadorian source. May be we can write that he was born in Miami according to some sources and Guayaquil according to some other sources (though if the Times of India is the only source saying this I would disregard it). You know, claiming an Ecuadorian president is a US citizen or is eligible for an immediate citizenship is a big deal, and we should avoid saying this without really good sources. Excuse me, you all're right, I said I didn't delete any source and I did. In my editorial work, I thought I didn't replace it, it was my mistake. After not having the main reversion anymore, which was my concern, I leave the editorial to your judgment, as you all are more qualified. What happens is that around here, there has been a lot of debate about whether he was unfit for the presidency due to his birthplace, but that was not the case, and He has already been elected and his election was constitutional, which is supported by the source from El Universo newspaper. -But shifting gears a bit, I noticed that you've switched to the legal formality and not the 'couples' style, if that were the case. The lengthy legal process was only completed in 2021, and the divorce is indeed stipulated in the sources, formalized in 2021. The same year, he formalized his civil marriage after a year and eight months of relationship, all as stated in the source from Revista-La-Verdad. To avoid misunderstandings, I kept it in the 'couples' style. Exmp 1st (2017-2019), 2nd (2019-actuallity).
