A noble man does noble deeds...and by noble deeds he stands[edit]

I thought that was the motto. Where did "A Murphy man, is a Noble man" come from? Did a Loyola guy vandalize the article? Lionel (talk) 07:41, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This statement...[edit]

"Prior to the closure of Daniel Murphy, male grammar school students in the large Los Angeles Archdiocese had an option of choosing between the two schools." Uh...no. You either were admitted to Loyola or you weren't. This statement has no basis in reality. ----Lawrence — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alpha1906 (talkcontribs) 06:34, 13 April 2012 (UTC) "Daniel Murphy enjoyed a long-standing tradition as the primary Los Angeles rival to Loyola High School..." This statement has no basis in reality either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:645:8081:2C20:708B:27BE:C341:ADAC (talk) 04:07, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

1986 Basketball Champs[edit]

We won the "CIF Southern Section" that year (1986); not "City." Those are two different things. Thanx. 108.184.11.194 (talk) 04:22, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done! A source would be nice, but I'll take your word for it. SchreiberBike | ⌨  14:08, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
