Please stop misrepresenting Dani Stevenson's discography[edit]

I am editing this article to remove references to Stevenson being a featured artist on Nelly's 2002 single "Hot in Herre." The given citation in the old version of this article is not a strong enough reference for this fact. For one thing, the citation lists Nelly himself as a featured artist on the song, which is evidently false. More importantly, however, other reliable sources, including the liner notes to the album and the single, clearly show Dani Stevenson credited as an additional vocalist, not a featured artist. (Skeptical editors may refer to archived versions of these discography credits at Discogs for both the album and the single.) Other reliable sources such as MTV, VEVO and Billboard also do not list any featured acts for this single, either while the song was on the charts or since. It is dishonest to continue to edit this article and others to spread the claim that Stevenson was credited as a featured artist on this track when these sources clearly show that she was not (worse still, she was also falsely credited as a writer on the track on Nellyville's wiki page for over two years). This appears to have been an issue plaguing this article for over a year now, raised by at least two different users, and always reverted back by the same user despite being able to claim no source stronger than the shoddy allmusic citation.

As such, "Hot in Herre" will be moved to the Album guest appearances section where it belongs. The As featured artist section will remain intact, however, since Stevenson is indeed credited as a featured artist on "Tell Ya Friends." Mmrsofgreen (talk) 00:26, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
