Genre[edit]

They have ska upbeats. For something to be Ska, it doesn't need to have horns or a brass section (For example, Operation Ivy). I'm reverting it to Ska, if you have a problem please post it here. Thanks. 782 Naumova 13:24, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Eric was the fourth member to be added to Dance Hall Crashers, I, Joel Wing, was recruited by Matt and Tim before him. Also the history fails to mention guitarist Jaime McCormick, keyboardist and sax player Jason Bermak, trumpeter Jeremy Goody, trombonist Mat Snyder, trumpeter Harvey Hawks, trombonist Trombone Matt who all appeared on the first record. It's to be noted that Tim only played once with the band, which was a one-song performance at the Gilman Street Project in Berkeley, California. Matt left the band before any performances, but filled in for me at two shows later on after I got into a car accident and was almost killed. Joel Wing 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Karina's last name is SCHWARZ, as in black, no T, and i honestly cant remember designing the logo, but those were fast days and I'm flattered.

It is to be said that the origins of the Dance Hall Crashers were to somehow invite (or include) the Berkeley Mod scene into the Gilman st. project, to create the crossover for the Mods and the Punks, and to voice the opposition to the white-power skinheads that were encroaching on the area. The resulting fruit actually gave birth to a whole new audience with ties in neither one or the other and it seems fitting that membership evolved as such.
