I am the son of George Leite and am placing as much of the documentary materials as I can of his work in the literary and art world of the mid-20th century San Francisco Bay area, in particular that of Berkeley, CA from 1946 to 1952.

I am his sole heir, and I possess a vast trove of resources for which researchers contact me to seek access.

I am attempting a neutral POV, and to present what I can in the most accurate manner. I believe that I have refrained from any value judgements, critical assessments, or inaccuracies in documentation.

I have also begun oral interviews with my mother, Nancy Leite, who is presently 93 years old. She definitely has opinions, judgements, and an non-neutral POV, which I will only report, not repeat. Daliel (talk) 18:56, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

More to come![edit]

I have so much more to scan and post for both the bookstore and the gallery, that it seems a combined page might become unwieldy. External references are usually to either the store or the gallery; rarely to both. Other than "Cousin Henry" (Henry Miller), few creative artists of the region and time were both writers and painters, etc. Daliel (talk) 23:02, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
